PHOOKA

While drunk i went out walking through the heather glen
No pathway had been worn away and back again
I had no business there, just searching out a friend
Take me on your back until the very end

When suddenly from behind my back, I heard this call
Majestic black and oh so fast, I had to fall
Onto the winds of chance that still controls us all
Take me upon your back and jump that dry stone wall

When music, magic, mirth and love is all one needs
The evils of the desperate folks, breeds selfish greeds
It's time for cutting chaff and planting brand new seed
Take me upon your back, I'll give you the stallions feed

When high up in the mountains looking down below
Pishogue said light a fire and by the smoke we'll know
If change has come to pass or else we just don't show
Our emotions and our woes, until its time to go

When sober in the morning, bedragled, bumped and bruised
My thoughts are back to front, I'm dazed and I'm confused
Be sure, I am no horseman who has just been used
I rode upon his back and that's the fatal truth.
